Title: Rocking it before I'm boxing it... how to ground?
Post by: adam193 on February 15, 2017, 09:47:40 PM
I'm sure you all try out your pedals before you seal em up.  ;)

How do I ground it before I put it in the box? When I'm trying it, I can get sound out, but a ton of buzzing.....

Ground the pcb and both jacks to the -negative on the battery or powersupply.

Get alligator wire so you can hook up the jacks temporarily. :)

I have a separate test enclosure that already has the jacks, switch, and led wired and ready, just have to attach the 4 wires from the pcb to test it out.
