After an endless desert of product development we have finally arrived at a Function F(x) pedal oasis! Three new pedals getting released within the next couple of weeks.
Clusterfuzz Jr - CF in a 125B with three clipping options and an 8-Bit switch instead of a pot.
Accufunkture - Think Micro V envelope filter with some extra bells and updated for current production components
Cannon - Think Gary Clark Jr - octavia and Astrotone with our dual switching implementation
Not tryin to sell ya anything...just so happy to finally show what we've been doing for the last year! We've got two more coming pretty soon after these.
Beautiful things!
Although, where is the F F(X) branding on The Cannon?
They look sweet
Love the aesthetics and cant wait to hear how they sound

Very nice!
Nice ones!!
cool to see some additions and congrats guys on your successful journey to pedal paradise!
What are the chinese (?) symbols on the accufuncture?
The new designs - except the CF Jr - are really different from the current pedals. Not a bad thing, but they don't have that function f(x) flair to me. just meant as constructive feedback.
is there a 'no clipping option' on the CF Jr.? and what does the toggle on the canon do? order switcher?
again, great to see you making progress

That's actually an earlier photo of a prototype. It's at the bottom center on the real ones.

Constructive criticism is always welcome. The Cannon has a particular aesthetic as it is the signature pedal for Chicago blues artist Toronzo Cannon and that is his personal logo. The choice of circuits was his as well.
The Accufunkture was just something different. The theme seemed to fit with the name we gave it.
There is actually a clipping option on the CF Jr. It's LED-OFF-Silicon
These came out great. Nice to see some 125B sized stuff from you guys.

Yeah, it was pretty clear that some folks wanted smaller enclosures.
Very cool. I can't wait to hear all the rave reviews about these pedals too! Good job, fellas.
Hotness! 125B topmouunt jacks = total win! ;D . Loving your graphic design theme and execution... Top drawer effort, team. Congratulations, I look forward to the demos 8)
Wow, three at once! Congrats and best wishes for great market reception.
Love that shade of blue.

I've averaged approximately 4 hours sleep for the last couple of weeks. I'm about 2 days away from a Fight Club style mental break. ;D
Boy I like the way that Cannon looks. Well done dudes.

I'm unsure why you feel the need to be humble. They all look great! With two more coming soon you guys are really poised to take off! Who will moderate our forum while you're off hanging with all the Keeley's, Wampler's and Matthew's' of the pedal world?!
I have to say I do miss the brown of the original Clusterfuzz, but that's just my personal taste (or lack there of).
Looking forward to the Cannon. I want one. Badly.

FWIW, I like the copper of the Clusterfuzz as well. One of my favorite colors, especially for that pedal.
Nice work. Good call on the 125Bs. Pedalboard real estate is precious
Just another little update here, folks.
We just went live with a website redesign. It's not perfect, and there are still some tweaks we want to make, but it's good enough for rock n' roll. :)

Love the new site. Simple, classy, professional and easy to navigate and understand.
Thanks, Jason!
Site looks awesome!
Lookin great guys! I echo Jason's comments.
Cody
Site looks good. Some suggestions as you tweak:
1) If you click on a read more for any given pedal, you can go to the "next" or "previous" pedal, but there's no way to navigate directly to the other pedals. You might consider using a drop-down for the "pedals" link in the navigation bar or simply populating the bottom navigation with buttons for all 5 pedals instead of just the two on either side. It's also a little counter-intuitive that you can't go around in a circle, and that the button for the pedal on the *left* side actually takes you to the pedal that was to the *right* of the current selection back on the "pedals" page.
2) The "support" page is a little overloaded with your bio and contacts for reasons other than support. I had to hunt for your "story" and it turned out to be in an unexpected place, and in fact in a place I might not have seen because I might have stopped when I saw that there was warranty info on that page. I don't have a suggestion for this that doesn't involve more nav bar options, though.
3) BIG ONE! The "contact" button on the first page is broken!

I had to jam everything on one page so that the email address would fit in the nav without breaking the line. I'll probably end up rejiggering things a bit.

Gah! Last minute change last night on what pointed where. Thanks.
I dig the new page. Has a very professional flair.
QuoteWe have additional R&D and assembly operations in Tennessee and New Jersey.

Brian and I do the main circuit design work (ideas). I call it "R&D" but "product developement" is probably a more accurate term.
Yes, I'm in NJ.
Congrats dudes... the site looks boss! ;D
The site is great, and the new pedals look awesome! Hope you sell lots and lots of them!!
Biggest Q: when and where can I get a Cannonball? ;D

I need to get the listing up on Reverb. We have a few that aren't going to dealers. If you want one, let me know.
It's funny how I was so sure that the Cannon would be the least popular of this new batch (not for lack of quality...just seems more niche to me) but it turns out to be the one we are getting lots of inquiries about. I just don't know shit about the pedal market.

If we knew exactly what would hit in the pedal market, I wouldn't be having so much difficulty making my Lambo payments.
Obviously the next big hit pedal will be a reissue of the Danelectro Sitar Swami. I don't know why more people haven't figured this out yet! :o

I'll stick with my Jawari ;)
I'd buy a reissue of that reverse delay they made in an instant though.

It's the special, mojo-infused diodes we use. Nah, just kidding. We actually use pretty boring schottky diodes. ;D
Bah, people don't buy pedals with diodes that any schmuck can buy from Mouser. They buy pedals that only the seller can source from a little old woman in the Ukraine or something.
And when the diodes are from Mouser, I'm pretty sure that some people just lie and claim that they are encapsulated unicorn snot anyway.
Dang! Those demos sound really hot... nice work team
Nother one done with prototyping. Not idea when it will be released.
Octave fuzz with a interactive filter controls. Very fun. Niche noise, I suspect. Logic chip-based (CD4049 + CD4070).
gorgeous!
Here are my personal pedals. I don't have good knobs for the Gate Crasher now so I'll replace them later. You can also see where I drilled the LED hole too small (just did not feel like taking it all apart and re-drilling!)
Accufunkture sounds freakin sweet

Those looks great! I need to build up an Accufunkture for me. And a Cannon.
Another personal build. This box was etched slightly left of center. I made it worse by drilling off-center on the bypass switch (it's really amazing how a small miscalculation on a guide hole turns into a big mistake). I'm gonna have to get Dave to stop putting all these friggin' circles around everything!
But, anyway...love this despite my carelessness.
Yeah, the circles will lead you astray. Or lead to an ashtray. Definitely one of those two.
It sort of looks intentional. I like it.
There be FUNK in the house!
It adds humanity to the sterile cold world of electronic devices.
Only a year later and the Gate Crasher is finally due for imminent release! We should have a Mike Hermans demo coming out soon.

Really like that purple.. Looks great guys!
Nice!
looks awesome. I agree with Cody, the purple is working really well
I'm pretty excited about this one. It's a pretty weird and totally fun fuzz. I'm (of course) incredibly biased, but I really dig it.
Parallax page is up as well:

That looks great! Love the whole aesthetic.
Man.... These look all dope as shit T_T wish I had the funds to buy some!!!!
But its either keep doing this hobby and get to make tons of different pedals or buy 2-3 boutique pedals a year :\ . but keep up the good work none the less :) I am sure that there some people with more disposable income on the forum ! If you ever discontinue some of them and decide to sell the PCBs I would get some in a heartbeat!
Boom!
Phaser!!!!!!

Awesome. You'll want to check that yours has the latest firmware. To do that, unplug it from the power supply and wait a few seconds. Then plug the power jack back in while watching the main bypass LED (the big one). If it flashes white for a half a second and then turns blue, it's up to date. If not, let me or Pickdropper know and we'll arrange to get it flashed to the newest version for you.

Great. I'll check it later - it's a really good drive. It's got the honk you need and it sounds interesting too. I have only played with it a little bit so far, but hopefully I'll have some more time this week to fart around with it.
I see a Parallax in my future!
Kinda missing some of the cool sounds you can get when you combine super fast trem and slow phaser (pretty much the neatest thing about the pedal) but this is a decent demo.
The madness continues. I loves them spendy pedals.

Fear not, humble world citizens! Just zip on over to function-fx.com and purchase pedals of super luscious, wholesomely creamy quality in the dollar of your choice -- well, except for Zimbabwe dollars, because that shit is (was) crazy:

Damn, I didn't even know about the wombats.
The sad part is that even giant spider venom can't kill the giant wombats. It does, however, slow the giant wombats enough that they can be euthanised with Australian XXXX beer. Usually only takes the contents of one can.
