Title: Cave Dweller feedback mod -- ANSWERED
Post by: jonboper on September 27, 2017, 07:49:06 AM
I am trying to implement the feedback mod I've seen pictured so many times here, and am not quite sure I'm understanding things. The mod is described clearly here http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=25510.0 (http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=25510.0) but I am still too newb to understand some of the descriptions. As a visual person, is this the correct implementation of the mod as described?

I feel like I'm probably missing something...

After re-reading a bunch of times and doing more research, I believe this is much closer to what is described in the post:

You want to wire it like that I think

This way if you turn the trimpot fully cw it's like shorting pin2 & 3 of the fbk pot, and if you turn it a bit ccw it'll take more and more time to oscillate.

Thanks Boba7, your scheme might work, I didn't test it out because in the meantime I had help on another forum. What ended up working for me is this:
