Title: Huge pop on Kraken
Post by: mrfiama on December 29, 2017, 01:00:45 PM
Hi,

This is my first post here in this forum. A while a go I built a Kraken project (2013 version). The pedal sounds lovely and I really like it. However there's a huge pop whenever I engage og disengage the effect. So far i have replaced the 3PDT, rewired the whole true bypass wiring and checked components (like right polarity on electrolytics, diodes and transistors). Everything looks right so I wonder if anybody has any clue to where should I have to look.

I know could try with a pull down resistor but the pop is so big I keep on thinking about there must be something wrong somewhere.

Thanks in advance.

Leaky cap is the first thought. Pictures, voltages, tube or solid state amp.
