After some ok 1/4" jacks. Some I've had from China recently have been utter dog turd. They feel even cheaper and won't tighten to the enclosure.

I've had good luck with the ones dan.schumaker mentioned from tayda. I've also used the Neutrik jacks from BLMS on a ton of builds (including multiple bypass loopers) and they've always been great.

Interestingly, these are worlds better than the open Neutrik jacks, which I consider to be absolute junk. These closed Neutrik/Rean jacks actually are quite decent.
The closed Amphenol jacks are interesting as well as they have sharp flanges that scrape against the enclosure when screwed down, sort of locking them in place. The washers they supply are pretty crappy, but those can be replaced if necessary (which it isn't really). The jacks themselves work very well.
The tayda ones are my new favs.

From the ones I've had before me, these have the smallest profile looking in on the jack itself, 13 x 11 mm (plus the soldering tabs). Only issue is that they stick out a bit too far for aesthetics when mounted, so I end up using a few washers on the inside so the jack end is pretty much flush with the nut.

I love these jacks as well, but yeah, the bushing definitely sticks out too far. I found that one additional nut on the inside is about the exact distance they need to be spaced back in order to look right.
Definitely go for higher quantities if you can... they're $1.20 each at qty 10, but $0.36 each at 500:

I had some Tayda ones with the black insulation. Just sitting in a parts bin the metal became discolored. One was acting up in a build so I tried to bend the connector. It bent way too easy and way too far. (that's what she said) I went through and replaced them all in older builds and threw the rest away. Get good ones. You're gonna save a dollar on a build but if/when it fails your pedal don't work no mo. Not worth it. (just one man's opinion)
Cannot recommend Tayda jacks at all, I'm afraid. The metal is cheap and crappy.
Edit -- except for the plastic PCB mount ones, they're okay. The plastic threads are, oddly, better than the metal threads in the other jacks!
