Title: PedalPCB Woodpecker LFO Tick
Post by: chongmagic on July 13, 2018, 04:55:14 PM

I just finished up the pedalpcb Woodpecker and am getting the dreaded LFO tick. I have read that some ground the LFO circuit separately to help alleviate the issue and that others double the power filter resistor and cap.

I was wondering if I double R12 and C100 say to 200R and 250uF if that would help with the issue? Also would it help to up C4 to 250uF as well?

I have read this is a pretty common issue with this tremolo circuit.

Are you using top mounted jacks? If so do your input/output wires run right over the lfo?
