I'm looking at http://this1smyne.com/shop/acec/ and wondered how it'd be wired up inside, I'd like to build one :) can't find any info on Google!
Thanks.

Me too. It didn't work with a pull down on the input as well. Only on its own.

Weird!!

Believe it or not, it worked.

I dunno why tho! I'd already grounded the output before which made no difference, this time i ungrounded the input though.

Gotta love electricity.

Thanks again for your help

There's a spike on output. I have now changed all caps one by one, still popping!

I tried grounding the out put with a pulldown.

Using the schematic linked from the vero layout.

Any ideas?

General Questions / Can't get rid of switch pop
March 19, 2017, 05:39:47 AM
Hi!

I've got a problemo with switch popping. I've built 100s of fx now but this particular one is giving me so jip!

The switch pops.
I've grounded the input, I've added the and resistor and cap. I've removed the led totally. I've replaced the 3pdt and power socket.

It doesn't do it in the test rig.
It doesn't do it if the input jack is not plugged in.

Running out of ideas.  The effect is working fine.

It's a swamp thing tremolo.

Any ideas?!

Hiya, what's everyone using as a direct drop in replacement for the 5457 now it's hard to get hold of?

General Questions / switching question
August 20, 2016, 04:58:52 AM
Hi.
its probably really simple, but I cant get my head around this for some reason - hopefully someone can help.

Looking at adding a second 3pdt to an enclosure. The first will be the main on and off bypass, the second 3pdt to add in a second effect such as an octave to a fuzz but if you click stomp one it goes directly to off for all rather than just off for effect one.

Hope that makes sense.
Thanks

General Questions / Magna vibe power squeak

, I'm putting a nagnor vibe together. It a got a squeak which is coming from the power I think. It's squeaking in time with the led pulsing.

Any ideas how to get rid?

Where's the octave input section for the retro grade on the schematic? Looking at removing the fuzz totally. Cheers

Will the bypass switch be a millebium style, taking the signal away from the 2nd half of the circuit to output giving one or two octaves, or will that not work

So, could I replace the transformer circuits with green ringer circuits to produce a work a like circuit?
