I have a verified modded HM2 board layout I will sell you a board for once I get the prototype run from Oshpark...Its a complicated build, but sounds amazing.

Neutrik/switchcraft from 4site. never buy jacks or switches from tayda, only ICs transistors, diodes resistors and Caps.

Anything from Jim Mcewan.
Murray Mcdavid, Port Charlotte, Bruichladdich.

I love everything I have had from any of the lines, ultimate standouts being, PC6, 3D3, Ardbeg Mission Gold 17yr, Lagavulin Mission Gold, Clynelish 14yr, Black Arts, Legacy 2, to name a handful.

A great standby is the previously named, and rightfully regarded Lagavulin 16. Daily drinker when I managed a liquor store.

A few non peated greats were the Glenmorrangie Signet, 15, Finealta, and 12yr port.

I had a 5 finger glass of Lagavulin 30 yr, that was a 2 hour drink.

Tayda 2n7000, 2N5457 both have been giving me problems from overheating so I socket them

Im stripping almost 5000 pieces of wire a week.....you get used to it haha

Man, if I stripped that much wire, I'd buy prestripped wire to specific lengths.  It costs more, but would save a ton of time.

Assuming, of course that these are repetitive builds and not one-offs.

Ya its commercial biuld. My grip on my right hand can break bones from using this thing so much haha

Ive got 2 of those 20$ radio shack wire strippers, does 5 at once 22AWG solid core. No complaints as long as you keep adjusting the thumb screw.

I did a few tweaks to a rub a dub and got it sounding pretty close to my V4s reverb, and its got a bit of a volume boost now too, maybe 10db.
