Nice! I'm a software engineer and have done embedded programming, but ever time I start working with FPGAs my brain hurts. I wish I understood how to use them better. To me it is just an entirely different level of work.

Some how I had missed making one of these and it recently jumped on my short list

I've gotten sucked down this rabbit whole as well, some really good npr tiny desk concerts out there as well.

Warpaint has occupied a lot of my listen time lately as well.

I've had this board sitting around for a long time. Then I was missing some parts. Then I finally got the "correct" diodes. And now I finally got it in an enclosure. Definitely not my best work and the off board wiring for the buffer is messy, but so it goes.

btw there is foam under the board.

I like it, I'm not sure I would do the rotary switch, or maybe I would change the caps for different ranges. I did the initial turn of the dial and then have left it since.

I had purchased a couple "broken" wahs off of ebay for less than a new shell. Most had minor issues but I was mainly interested in the harbinger 2 and the weener wah.

I took the inductor and used the pot, otherwise the internals were swapped. I added a rotary switch for the cap selection. It works. Hoping to give it a good run through this weekend.

ODs are hard in my opinion to make something that different.

Personally, I've been chasing higher gain stuff at the moment and am wrapping up a chunk chunk.

So maybe amp based stuff like that but with J201 getting hard to find, maybe with soemthing else? I thought I read somewhere that the latest ROG amp pedals had moved away from 201s to something else, but I didn't dig enough to find what.

Btw I've been on a modulation kick too so I've enjoyed the new projects!

I reflowed all the joints and we have phasing!
I also got a set of 2n5457 matched as I thought that was maybe the issue. So good to know my matcher works as well.
