So we finally moved to our new house, a cute little chalet in the Belgian country side.
Pretty hardcore and stressful moving all our crap in there but in the end it was totally worth it :-)

Build Reports / MOLECULAR COMPACTOR (Spin Semi FV-1 based)
« on: December 05, 2016, 08:28:05 AM »

Seems like having 2 Molecular Disruption Devices (thread disappeared in the crash but you can check it out here ) with 8 programs each was getting too little ... so I decided to build another one. Since I did not need the expression pedal and tap switch as much as I would have thought I made a new layout for a smaller version.

Same circuit as the MDD minus the tap switch, tap switch option control and expression pedal input.

Quite happy with the smaller footprint and reduced number of options (choices, choices ...)

Had built it a while ago but having been busy moving to a new house I had no time to post it yet.
Also some patches I have been working on:

(or secretly wish I had the chops to create something like this ...)

Came across this on the german bay today:

http://www.ebay.de/itm/Riesiges-Effektgeratebundle-Mu-Tron-Brassmaster-Shin-Ei-EHX-RARE-/201602523462?hash=item2ef0726146:g:mbUAAOSwqBJXXWk-

A multi made out of this:

- Mu-Tron Bi-Phase mit Fu▀schalter
- Mu-Tron III
- Maestro Bass Brassmaster
- Ibanez Renometer No.95
- Electro-Harmonix Electric Mistress
- Electro-Harmonix Golden Throat
- Electro-Harmonix Talking Pedal
- Shin-Ei Space Creator SC-34
- Morley Power Wah
- Mixer
- Overdrive
- 2x Volumepedal

Someone must have done this when these things had not yet acquired "vintage" status ...seeing how some were cut to size :-)

I have been rather uninspired with guitar playing for a while and have been thinking about getting out my midi keyboard and other synth stuff but everytime I get discouraged by the pile of PCB's, breadboards various parts scattered on my desk. Good thing my computer keyboard has lighted keys or I would not find it most of the times.

I know ... I should tidy up and get organized. Funnily (and luckily) my 4 year old son regularly takes out his little bulldozer and decides it's time for me to clean up the mess  :D Somehow he really loves it ...

But as soon as the next round of pedal building comes it's all over again ...

I was just looking for ideas on how to integrate these various hobbies onto one desk. Having a PC keyboard, midi keyboard and pedal building area centered around the monitor.

So time show off your hybrid desks guys!!
