The Runt has 2x 47R resistors. All I have is 33R and 10R in my stash. If I teepee these, will the 43R be good enough? I'm thinking it will, but I'd like to get a surefire reply lol

Seeing Scruffie's post about fuzzes made me want to ask this question, but I didn't want to hijack his post. What would be a good fuzz for someone who's not a big fuzz fan? I built a Zombii, but I don't like the wild fuzz tones that one makes.

I know I like the Musket, but I'm not a big fan of a normal Muff circuit. I like something that has more mids than the scooped Muff sound. I also like the Mojo Hand Crosstown Fuzz, which is a germanium/silicon Fuzz Face hybrid.

Anyway, any recommendations would be great!

Is it possible to add this to a Sea Urchin project? I'd like to be able to enable/disable the fx loop with a toggle switch (on/off dpdt?).

So I have an idea for a mod I want to do to a circuit to make it my own, but I have absolutely no idea how to make it happen. Would anyone be willing to help me out (I'm totally new to modifying circuits, so I'd need it all to be explained in the simplest way possible haha)?

Has anyone ever tried the Emerson Em-Drive pedal? I found this picture online of the guts. Surely it can't be 2 caps, 2 resistors, and a tranny, can it?

Does anyone know of a project (or can someone make one) similar to the Suhr Koko Boost? It has 2 channels; a Clean boost on one side and a Mid boost on the other. Sounds interesting, j/w if anyone knew of how to replicate this?

The mid boost is the part I'm more interested in.

Is there a substitute for LM386 at all? I've been looking up different drive circuits and a few that I like require LM386's and I don't have any lol

A while back I had purchased the instructions for modding a Blues Driver from the Monte Allums site. Well I finally got around to doing it yesterday. I had every part I needed except for a 1N34A Germanium diode. Is there anything I can replace it with? Currently, I only have these diodes: 1N4148, 1N4004, 1N4002, 1N4001, 1N4742, 1N5819, and 1N270.

The mod sounds pretty good like it is, but I'd like to finish the mod completely lol

Yesterday I bought everything I need to make my own breadboard prototyping rig. So I want to get a few schematics and possibly toy around with making my own circuit but I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to schematics. Anyone know anything about the Jetter Jet Drive?

SO proud of this build. This is by far the most I've done as far as decorating the enclosure goes. I designed the decal myself in photoshop. Most importantly, it sounds great!!

I'm in the process of making a Sea Urchin and I don't have a 33R resistor for R7. What would happen if I put three 10R's in series in its place? That would only be 30R, I know, but would that be close enough?

Also, I did something similar with the 360k resistor. I put two 180k's in series. That DOES work, right (sorry, noob question lol)?

I'm building a SHO clone for a friend and I'm out of 9.1v Zener Diodes. Is there anything else I can substitute it with? I have 1N4148's, 1N4004's, 1N4001's, 1N4742's, and 1N5819's on hand and it would be great if I could use one of those instead.

Also, could someone tell me why this vero layout has so little parts compared to the Madbean Slambox (Slambox has 1 extra resistor, 1 extra cap, and 1 extra diode)? I'm pretty sure the extra resistor is a CLR, but the other parts?

I found a diagram for wiring 2 effects in one enclosure, but is it possible to wire a 2-in-1 using gtr2(Josh)'s 3PDT boards?

I'm thinking about making a 2-in-1 pedal and I'm not sure what to build yet. I have an unpopulated Serendipity (Zen Drive) board, so I was thinking maybe a Zen Drive and a Wampler Plexidrive combo? Or maybe a Plexidrive/SHO combo?

I'm kinda leaning towards a low gain/med-high gain combo (something like the T1M Pearl, JHS Sweet Tea or Double Barrel, etc), but I don't want to use a TS-style OD since I already have that.

Any suggestions (it doesn't have to be any of the ones I named lol)? Oh, and I don't do etching, so it would have to be something I could find a vero layout for

How difficult is it to add a clean blend knob to a project?

For example, I want to build something along the lines of a JHS Pulp n Peel or a Barber Tone Press (a compressor with a volume, comp, and blend knob). So I figured I'd try an Orange Squeezer vero I found, but I wanted to know if anyone could show me how to add a clean blend to it.
