Tech Help - Projects Page / Nautilus Subbed IC

I subbed LM324's for TLo74 and after alot of trouble shooting, found a dumb solder bridge, everything works great, great sub, I also used a MAX1044CPA with no squeal, tried a L7660 with lots opf squeal.

Hey guys, I have it hooked up to a double chip DM-2 style delay. It is very prominent up for the first half of the delay knob, but into the longer times it becomes less prmoinent, and with maxed time all modulation seems gone. Is this normal? I did a roll your own tayda LDR and red LED if thats makes a difference? As I am trying to wrap my head around this LFO board, it tugs on the time pot slightly making the modulation right? So as the time pot gets bigger it is snubbing out the modulation hmm.......

IDK am I way off here?

Hi guys so wit feedback at 0 I get like a quick repeat, about 1/4 up it becomes a full repeat, but the decay seems to have a strong gate on them. Should I try different pot or is this just the way the v3205 version is? Maybe tweak a trim pot more?

Is this an acceptable sub? All I have on hand is a ne571...

Mods / Smoothy, Blinking rate LED

Connect a 2k4 resistor (CLR) to the right side of R25, connect 2k4 to the round side of the LED, then connect flat side to ground.
Enjoy your phasing ;)

So I just want to build the Uproar to stock specs, jsut the clip switch, so that I can fit this in a 1590B which I assume is possible. SO do I jsut jumper the presence switch or do I have to use it?
Also would a C5K pot work for the tone knob or should I just do a C10K which I dont have a pcb mount on hand?

Thanks

I have juiced about 290/300ms or so out of this delay with minimal noise ratio as the bias instructions suggest. I was just wondering what a normal or average time is on these using the v3205?

I see on the Cool Audio v3205 data sheet it says "The V3205SD is a 4096-stage low voltage operation (VDD = 5V) BBD that provides a signal delay of up to 204.8ms at clock frequency 10KHz and is suitable for use as reverberation effect of audio equipments such as portable stereo and radio cassette recorders which need low voltage and long delay time since S/N is 60dB in spite of many stages."

Anyone care to share there experiences?

thanks

Build Reports / AquaBoy~

YEAH I did it, the Aquaboy is complete, wow serious moment of victory right now! It sounds outstanding, I am getting around 290ms of delay time out of it right now but I may try to juice a bit more out of it, I did not spend lots of time biasing it so I may take a couple more minutes dialing it in tomorrow.

Hey whats up guys, I have built a few pedals with Madbeans boards, but never registered over here, but here I am  ;D

Anyways I am getting my order together for the parts I need to finish this thing and I cant find any 47k5 or 475K resistors, can some one enlighten me on these? I have seen some outstanding gut shots of these and dont see any teepee's?

Also IC1 LF353N, is it ok to use LF353P?
