Ha that was the first pedal I built too! IIRC while my internal trimmers look to be similar as far as position I think my JFET one is closer to the middle of the adjustment. Originally I tried adjusting by going off the extraneous phasing sweep that goes on while the pedal is on but no one is playing. On mine that noise is a bit louder then I wish it was. Adjusting that way was a mistake, I redid it strumming guitar in stand and making adjustments. Just got a scope and will check it with that at some point. Good job!

Thanks All, it is indeed very low level, I am glad it is correct for this pedal, gives me a little confidence boost as I am getting parts for a Matchless 2 Channel. And I appreciate a forum where people help/respond even to someone who is new doesn't post a lot. I'm amazed/confused/irritated when I post a question on a forum (that is not easily googled/searched for) and it gets a number of views but no one has any input  ??? Oh well, thanks again, I think I am going to make either the triplet of alpha dog next.

With the pedal engaged but I am not playing anything I can hear a very low level phasing. Anyone else experiencing that ?

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! It gives me a new appreciation the work that goes into a pedal.

And an etched enclosure with multiple colours?  Impressive!  Especially for a first build.

Thanks, it seemed like a good solution at the time, I didn't realize how finicky transferring the  toner is, I did it a number of times before I got it somewhat acceptable. The color is alcohol dyes.

Awesome and quite a pedal to built at any stage, especially as a first! You must be stoked and addicted now... 8)
Great stuff!

Yeah I went a little nuts already, I ordered 6 different VFE pedals at once. This one plus a alpha dog, merman, mobius, triplet, and a pale horse. I ordered all the parts for the VFE's too . Plus I have a few Aion pcb's for a Boss DC-2, Klon, Zen Drive, & a King of Tone.

I know the first step is to admit I'm powerless over PCB's.....

That looks great!  I like those different color aluminum knobs.  Where did you get them?

Thanks! Got them from small bear.

Works! Ha, was a little nervous hitting the button the first time. Put more time into it then I care to admit. Only issue I'm having with it is that I can hear a very low level phasing going on when the pedal is on but not playing, perhaps the level is up a little too much.
