Also, we haven't had a day of work less than 11 hours so far. Tomorrow is the last day.

My guitar has already taken the blood of three men.

Multnomah Falls and the book store both sound interesting.

I'm taking the workshop offered by MIchael Fox.

I'm in the Electric Guitar and Bass class.

From less than scratch is essentially from before the design.  We start with a blank piece of paper.  Design our guitar, then start making it from piles of raw material and a bag of shit from All Parts.

I'm in Portland this week learning how to build solid body guitars from less than scratch.

I'll have next Sunday and Monday to do stuff in the area.

Any recommendations?

I have a friend living with me for a while and she makes jewelry like we make pedals.  She asked if she could have some stuff from my stash.

This is the first few things she came up with just messing around.

Yeah.  Work.  I'm being put on special assignment to a particular three letter government agency that is headquartered on Fort Meade.

Calling all acquaintances, friends, friends of friend, nice people who are out there.

There is a high probability that I will be moving to the Baltimore-DC area in the next couple months.
I've never lived in this area before and I'm not sure what I'm getting into.

Is there anybody out there that can help me with this transition?

This makes me feel really good about giving pedals away all the time.

I suppose mod this will be to convert the JB-2 to sound like an original Blues Driver by eliminating the Angry Charlie circuit... ;D

So an extra hundred bucks to mod the pedal... by turning the right side knob to "Boss" and cutting the shaft off.

Oooohhhhhhh daaaaaaaaammmmmmmnn.

Dang.  Good for him. For all the JHS BS, this is essentially getting called up to the majors from AAA ball.

That being said, it's just stacking ODs. and using a fancy switching idea we've all done before.
The difference is placement and access.

Josh did whatever it took to place himself so that he could have access to the powers that be to get into this position to be able to sit next to the king (Boss).  That's the market, and good on him for getting it done.

FYI,  I got that Buzz Box before the super spike in prices.  It cost me a princly sum of $175, with box and instruction booklet.

That stupid thing is reaching Klon level prices on eBay and Reverb.
If you have one (or a meat box or a gonkulator), I'll buy it for $100.  Or you can try and sell it online for whatever crazy price someone else will buy if for.

I've always been interested in playing with that delay knob on the hard rock distortion.
That's not something you see very often.

Oh man. I always wanted all of the DOD pedals. I remember seeing the ads back in the early nineties.

Me too man.
The I remember reading the descriptions in AMS or Musicians Friend and thinking "That sounds so cool, But I can't blow all my grass cutting money on something this silly without hearing it first."
