Saw in another post that they're supposed to be AD633AN(or ANZ) which are different from the JN. It seems many have been having the same problem, me included.
Still haven't gotten the ANZ type to find out if mine has only that problem.

Many DOD pedals have alpha pots that are marked with a W. But they don't seem to be
log->center<-rev.log.
Does anybody what they are?

You have my sympathy. I suggest you read as much as you can about ADD/ADHD before taking any decisions. I'm  ADD and my daughter was diagnosed last year.  I thought the book "Driven to Distraction" gave some insight into ADD. Feel free to pm me, if you have any questions.

The digitech Drop seems to stay more true to the timbre of whats being transposed. In general I think the EHX pitch pedals sound more synthetic i don't mean it in a negative way though.

Maybe another way to look at it, Digitech Drop is a realistic transposer and PF is more an add on or substitude harmonizer.
Therefor, everyone should have both!!!!
