Looking at your Harbinger build: Where do you get these fat orange caps? Just want to know the MFG/series so I can source some. I've been using the plastic boxes, but want to try these.

Thanks for all the tips Willybomb. I suppose I'll try at least one of mine with the transfer paper, since I already bought a 5-pack. I've been brush-lacquering 4 coats on my pedals and then gradually sand to fine, then polish, but guess I should go gentle and do light coats of spray-lacquer to keep the transfer intact. I did a quick search on the Datapol, but doesn't look like it's easily found here in the US. I really like your pedal themes. They all look great. Love the Last StarFighter pedal. I want to press that Death Blossom switch!!

I've been doing some pedals with the typical light color paint and clear waterslide decal (then cover all that in lacquer) with good success. But now I created some artwork with colored graphics that I want to apply over darker painted enclosures.
I found this method, but haven't been able to dig up much on other folks doing it. Only that it prob won't work, but his results look pretty good. http://www.kitrae.net/music/Custom_Pedal_Graphics.html
Anyone else tried Tee-shirt transfers?
If not, I guess I could give white-backed waterslides a go. Here are the next pedal graphics I'm trying to apply...

Not sure if there's already an existing or past project done but what about a combo high gain pedal with noise gate circuit built into it?

I did some screwing around and got it sounding so much better. Changed the C9 to 3n3, R9 to 1k, and C20 to a 4.7uF ceramic. A few others on the forum did these three mods so I tried it, and it's a big improvement. No more whining or the DIM pot, but I do get that "motor-boat" effect past 30%. It's cool though, because there's noticeable reverb up to 50%, but anything past that is unusable. Changing C20 to 4.7uF makes the rate wayyyy more in range.
This is my first pedal build with a finished enclosure. I'm pretty happy with it. Still have to box it up. It's not perfect, but OK for a first build. Here's a couple pics so far. (I have a thing for "The Life Aquatic". I know it's a hated movie, but....)

Sorry to dig up an old thread.
I built a Gravity Wave, and have it on the test rig. Everything is working good, but I too am having the Dimension pot problem. Starts whining between 10-20%. I had done a lot of reading before this build, so I thought I'd be proactive, and went ahead and did the ( C9 change to 33n / R9 change to 10k ) from the start. These are the only mods I did to the original schematic. Before I start dicking around with things, I was wondering if anyone else had this result with just these changes? I thought about changing C20 to 4.7uF, but wouldn't this just make the rate speed slow down a bit? I don't think it would have any bearing on the whining at the dim pot issue.

They're a bit sturdier, and available in a couple of different sizes. Not sure about pricing.
If you stagger the switches like this:

You might be able to build it a bit more compact while still keeping spacing decent.

Actually they are on Digikeys website. $34 for the 14" wide and $40 for the 17" wide. Way better price than what I first looked at.

Staggering won't be an issue. I did look at these, but think the pricing may be higher as it's more of an industrial enclosure. Guess I'll need to give them a call.

I was thinking 10 effects switches and 1 bypass switch. Wanted a lot of space between them cuz I am Bigfoot. 

Hi guys. I'm planning on building n effects looper, and I found this for an enclosure:

My concern is that the surface material where all the switches will be is only .05" (or 1/20") thick. Seems like this thickness may be prone to the surface bowing/creasing every time I hit a switch with my foot. What are your thoughts?
