as an antiparallel pair, no need to match them up. as part of a ring mod circuit (green ringer, octave fuzz)  then matching them within 10mV makes sense. You're not likely going to notice asymmetry in clipping diodes until you over 100mV difference and even then it is harmonic content so we're down to really listening to discern a difference vs just playing and making music.

I laughed out loud at this because I got one of those large bat switches due to my own error when ordering parts for the harbinger 1.5 and it is difficult to explain how ridiculous it is until it is there in front of you ... meanwhile I have a drawer full of those covers in black from an ordering error on a previous project ... I've held on to both figuring some day I'll find the use for them.

I suppose the other thing to consider is whether either side of that jumper somehow has found ground ...

The continuity issue you want to investigate would be whether the jumper that runs from the input side of the switch to the output side is intact as that should be your single point of failure if this is a true bypass effect.

the URL registration may be current but they likely ran afoul of the server host in one way or another. it's nice someone went to the trouble of rehoming the wayback content ... it also appears their troubles are over as of this writing

It's difficult to talk about Fulltone and Mike has made it so. He's allowed his politics and while I may disagree with some to all of what he puts out there, it wouldn't have affected my buying one of his products (which I never did). I even heard out a couple of "put your feelings aside" arguments from guys who'd also like you to forget about their pasts.

What I'll remember about Fulltone is how awful the GT500 was and how difficult it was to get rid of. Everything else I may have to say about him good or bad pales in comparison to that experience.

I've flown with entire computer motherboards in my carry-on. It should be fine and easy enough to explain in screening should they ask.

I got mine the last week of June and am just now feeling truly able to be at work at full mental capacity. It's a bumpy ride, even with the vax, the boost, and the antiviral.
