Hmmm tonebender. Wah. Tape delay. Theremin?

I would try putting a current limiting resistor and LED off of pin 1 of IC4.

Mouser's a toughy for LED's. They have.. a lot. Diffused will work fine for you though.

I'd wrap it up in electrical tape just in case!

Neato man. What's the ISP knob do?

Open Discussion / Re: Boss DD2 a PT2399 based delay?

Who said that it was? It is digital and it is a delay, but it is not a pt2399. Google has the schematic floating around if you're interested!

Yet you make overkill seem so beautiful.

It's a safer bet that your LED won't blow with 4k7. A lot of 'us' are using the water clear/super bright/etc LED's, which need a larger resistor then their diffused, older couterparts. I've used 10k-22k in some builds just so I don't blind someone.

If you really want to get down to it. Put a 25k or so trimmer in series with a 300-400 ohm resistor, or whatever the calculator says, starting with the trimmer at full resistance, and turn it until your LED is at a brightness you like. Add the trim resistance + the resistor and select a resistor of the closest value. Overkill.

Wait wait wait wait.

So you plug it into your amp, hook a mic that goes in to the unit as well, it goes 'beep boop', then your amp is modeled?

What?!

That's amazing. So then you plug in to this unit, plug it into a power amp and cab? Or just cab? Headphone?

Damn, that is very smart! Good call. I'll do some sims and search around, but that's very clever. Thanks!

If you only want to test the LED, and not select a resistor for brightness, you can use 10k, 22k, 47k, and still get color.

I have used a sharpee to color in black mistakes before using envirotex without a lifting problem, but black sharpee is a very different black than black print, so there's a good chance you'd see it even if it worked. Doesn't really help you though, sorry.

Super dope man! Love the look and the envirotex looks excellent. Nice neat wiring too.

Hmmm I think an MN3008 right after the return jack set for 10-30ms would make for some interesting sounds. I think at that clock rate, I might get away with no/minimal filtering.
