That looks like an Osh board. How do you solder that? Flux and oven? Tiny minions?

Do yourself a favor and check out all his other works. Also wear a chin guard for all the jaw drops. Goes by cloudscapes on a lot of forums or Sonic Crayon.

I don't see any reason to connect the center and normally empty outer lugs together since you're getting the same exact function. 

Check your resistances around the problematic functions.

What i think i like the most out of that one is the 9-12V outputs, bouncing 2 of them together to power up some of my EHXs and the 500mA 9V outputs from wich i could use one to daisy chain my lower power consumption pedal in Pre and use the other available output to do the same with those in the Post... 2 small daisy chain, but isolated.... pretty sure i'd get quiter operation that way.

Have'nt bought any other MultipleOutput PSU since my DCBrick many years ago... i'm due.

The second from the right has 500mA output, but that's the only one I think. Love all the options on it, looks fantastic. I've never ran into a problem with having a non-isolated power supply, but this looks good enough to get just for the multiple types of outputs.

Exactly. All you want to do is make or break a connection. Wire one of the pads to the center/common, the other two one of the lugs, doesn't really matter. When the toggle is slanted away from the outer lug, the connection will be made. When it's slanted towards the connected lug, the connection is broken.

This might be worth looking at also, not verified but it looks easy enough to knock it out to try.

I think the thing that DeadAstronaut did at DIYSB is the exact same thing as the FET2B mentioned earlier in this thread. It's really simple and sounds really good.

Nah, no tube. Complicates things too much and in the schematic provided, it's only used to provide gain to the rest of the circuit - the gain control is after the tube. You'd have to use an external boost pedal to get any tube clipping out of it. The clipping that happens in the Westhost preamp is just diodes to ground at the end of the circuit. In this case, it would be more of a gimmick than anything useful.

I was also going to say you could just build the preamp of the blackface Bassman if you wanted tubes, but since you don't like the Alembic, you probably wouldn't like that either. I'd imagine one of those Gring Custom tube things could be mod'd for bass. I was about to look into that, but the controls that the Westhost project provides are so useful it's hard to pass up.

A pretty extensive bass preamp. I'm about to get boards fab'd that include the input, tone controls, HPF, comp and drive sections as well as balanced outputs and a power board. Not sure how long you want to wait, but I'll have a few extra that I'm going to try to get rid of.

For some reason the boutiquers like to leave the legs long, which make no sense, but if you want, you can cut little tubes of heat shrink and put them over the legs and then bend the transistor down so it fits in the enclosure.

If the sound is good. Solder that baby in the socket. At least one leg. Transistor sockets are so useless in keeping transistors in.

It's probably not multiuse... otherwise if you buy one thing from their eBay, you could forever have 10%. Unless it's a timed thing.

The only codes avaliable are the monthly ones they post on their Facebook, that I am aware of anyway. Last one ended at the end of April so it might be a bit before the next one shows up.
