Get well soon Brian.

Hi,
That's great. I've never tried the scope calibration, was it easy in the end?
Cheers.

Hi,
There's something on the Mistress Mystery page http://www.metzgerralf.de/elekt/stomp/mistress/align.shtml.

So you should check your soldering in that area of the schematic, I don't know what else. I'd start around the trim pots and check if turning them changes Q13's voltages, because they should at least let you get a bright lamp.

Hello,

So the LFO's where the problem is. You've reported fixed voltages at Q13's collector and Q11/12 bases and emitters, but they should vary. Can you check that?
I would also check the wiring of the speed pot and solder in the LFO and pulsating LED circuits, the two parts down the schematic.

Hi,
What are the typical voltage oscillations values at Q13's collector? Can you also check the voltages at the bulb, and the continuity along Q13, the gain trim and R47?

These are great news! Thanks a lot Brian for making all these circuits available.

Hi!

Thanks for the poll. That's fun! I've never built tube effects, these would make a great start.

Cheers, Pierre.

That's very clean! Much cleaner than what I did. I used a pump, but it was messy. I'm just not very skillful with at soldering. Why is it better to use braid there?

Tanks micromegas, it worked, I soldered directly the components together.

Hello micromegas,

Thanks for the idea , I'll try that after the cleaning.

Hello everyone,

I'm a beginner with a few vero builds, but not many pcbs. I had to change the 7815 a few times, thinking I was frying them and I wonder if I haven't managed to burn or melt the pcb now. I have taken voltage readings on the in and out pins, both from ground and +18 v, giving 0 each time.

See the pics below, it's ugly. What do you think? Is there a way to fix it? Or should I start over?

Thanks!

Pierre.
