I only build mine with "Unicorn Farts". (D9E)
Once those run out, I have a pretty good stash of D9K that are pretty close and will still be labeled "Unicorn Farts"!  ;)

Sorry, completely forgot about this. Got caught up in prep work for Halloween!
I've got some work to catch up on in the shop so I should be able to give you an answer soon!

I built one of the Crystal Daggers a while ago. I'm not sure if I kept a copy of the docs or if I still have it in an old email.....  I'll check when I get home later and let you know.

Bruce Egnater is a super nice guy and very approachable. He's pretty active in a few different amp and pedal building groups on Facebook.
You might be able to reach out and see if there's a known issue with your specific amp (production date/revision).

Love the color and the suggestion for a sticker! I'd love to get myself a baritone one of these days. A buddy of mine had a bass VI back in the day and it was definitely a fun instrument to play around with.
Let me know if you need an always on buffer (or three) for your signal chain.  ;) ;D

Oh no!
I've been there plenty of times too. Hopefully you'll be able to recover and have something worth your troubles....  ;D

Good lord Chris, you're a machine!
You ever think about (or maybe you have and I missed it) taking a group photo of all your builds?
Of course you might need a super wide-angle lens to capture tham all in one shot!
This one looks killer as always!

That look great! Glad to see you're getting some use out of the "Drew haul"  ;D
It really is a fun circuit to play around with. I've had some boards made up for a design that I tweaked slightly based on Madbean's old Ego Driver.

That's a great looking guitar, congrats!
The thing that really caught my eye though, I have the same solder spool holder with the same BLMS sticker in the same place! My first (lazy) glance had me thinking, "man, I don't remember buying that guitar"!
Great find, hope you get many years of enjoyment out of it!
As for the rubber on the volume knob, they're probably just O-rings that could be replace easily enough. Check your local hardware store and rock on.

At about 1:15 there's a key step that some people miss when stripping the cables. It doesn't apply to ALL cable brands but it might be the problem you're having.
Over the center conductor's insulation, there may be a thin layer of semiconductor material that needs to be peeled back. If this isn't done, and that layer is making any contact with the center conductor, there will be a high impedance short to the shield. It'll probably test fine in a cable tester but will definitely bleed off some of the signal.
Double check your cable to see if you have this layer that needs to be peeled back.

I was following the other thread and didn't notice this one until this morning....
Hopefully the meeting was fun and we'll be doing more in the future. I'll keep a closer eye on things so I don't miss out on the next one!

I almost feel guilty because it only cost me $31.80 after tax!

New (Old) Oscilloscope Day!
Scored this bad boy from the "Investment Recovery Center" at work where they sell off old gear that the company is no longer using.
Even got a set of leads/probes with it. No I just have to download a user manual and re-familiarize myself with them a little bit. It's been quite a few years since I've had to use a scope.

I really like the "rough" look of the millwork. Looks like it would be a fun finishing technique to play around with.
Now, where can I find space in the shop for a new machine....?
And where can I scrape together some extra $$ to pay for it....?  ;D

That's awesome! I love Spaceballs and it's one of those movies I still watch probably once a year.
Great looking pedal and as Lord Helmet would say; "Evil will always triumph, because good is dumb!"
