I see Brian has suggested changing the cap values in the phase section of the Nom Nom for a vibe-ish sound. Has anyone played with the values here? What values did you settle on?

I'm considering two switches: one to change the C3 and C4, and another to change C5 and C6. Would changing only two stages be a significant enough change?

I've built a phase 90 clone but I have not experimented with the cap values.  As for changing two stages?
I suppose it would depend on your ear for "significant change".  If you run the phaser after a distortion box,
I would think that you would notice the change.  Running the phaser clean, not so much.  Just my 2 cents.

What mods have you done to your FM4/DL4?    I took my MM4 apart and re-painted the enclosure.  I didn't do a very good job,
so I'll probably re-re-paint it when I'm in the mood.

... You know what's hard? Crawling under your car for several hours trying to fish your hands and a socket wrench through impossibly small spaces when it's 85F and 80% humidity in dang October! And, only to find out you didn't fix the problem all the way and the car has to go to the shop after all. Because...really...I have so much free time to be doing that sort of stuff right now.

It's definitely sweatshirt weather here in Indiana.

My college roommate was a mechanic, and even after we moved on from university, he was still enough of a car nut to handle any repairs my car needed. Hell, I bought my current car from his garage.

He finally moved out of state, and while I'm happy for the guy.... I miss being able to pay for car repairs with beer.

about the only mechanical repairs I won't do are a/c work and tires ... my least favorite is dashboard work, I don't think there's ever been a comfortable position to work from on anything behind or under the dashboard

I have nightmares of removing a dashboard from an old mustang II.   The check engine light kept flickering on and off for no good reason.
I finally gave up and slapped a piece of duct tape over the stupid light.   Duct Tape has now become by best friend!  Quack!

Exactly.   My first real job was at the local McDonald's Beverage and Emporium.   
If a customer came up to the counter and was not happy with
the quality of their order ( for example:  soggy fries ), we just simply :

         a.  shouted "well, la dee fricken' doo da!  I dew declare! y'all is sayin' wat?"

         c.  sorry, i don't speak engrish, but i can slinky my way 'cross the dance floor ...

that had been freshly cut on my way to STAT 511.   The teacher was a grad student from Europe.  I believe that his name
was Omegaman.   His super powers included transmitting an F straight to my report card.  Needless to say, I was late for class
and often forgot my $100 calculator.   I did, however, often bring $1000 worth of chewing gum.   Grape, Strawberry, Cloudberry,
