I got these big caps, chicklet style, but a bit large.
Can anyone help identifying???They appear to be Siemens, but don't know what 4.7k is in nano.It's 250volts though.

I have two of these that I bought in Ukraine, it's pnp and it reads 54 hfe.
Does anyone knows what it is?

Hello, I have a question regarding the transistors.On the board, what transistors are the markings for?I'm sawpping between 2n5889 and bc549cfor Q1 and I can't seem to get it right.

The ones below have been identified, does anyoone know what these are?I've put a small mustard in there for size comparison.

My lowrider is working,yet octave down 1 is much louder than octave down 2.or perhaps Octave down 2 is quiter than 1.any suggestion?

My sdx delay is working finally and it works great.Yet, my favourite position is tape delay.This delay sounds amazing, but the repeats get saturated very quickly.I've messed with the tape pot placing parallel resistors in order to tame the repeats a bit but when in tape mode it almost makes no difference.Is there a way to tame the repeats on this mode?

Do these two have the same pinout???

So, my amp works 55 watts at 4 ohms.
I can select from 4/8/16 ohms working operation.
If I use a speaker that is rated 35 watts 8ohms, does it take the load of the amp working on 8 ohms?

Since im new in valves territorry im trying to gather information on what are the best valves for the pre section on my bugera v55 combo.
Ive been suggested with Jan Phillips 5751 for the phase inverter and a good 12at7 to V1 which controla the cleansound onde this AMP.
Would i BE good with a jan philips 12at7 for v1 and a jan philips 5751 as the phase inverter, or should they both BE 12at7?
Im aiming for very good cleansound Sound with good headroom.when using distortion Will use muff type of fuzz.

does anyone know a way to accelerate the breack in of a brand new capacitor?
I know it is possible to do it with speakers, is it there a way to do it to capacitors as well?

Hi, I've bulit my sdx and it works, but it's weird, only position two of the rotary switch puts out delay.On the other ones it will only make one repeat if the  Path switch is turned on.I experimented removing the lock from the rotary switch and I can find two more places where delay occurs, but I don't think this is the way it is supposed to be and they don't sound that different from each other either.

What happened to the old version of the mangler???
I tried to open to get hold of the circuit drawing and it doesn't open.

This would probably go in the tech help, but I have no camera at the moment and I can't take pictures.Basically, when I turn the effect on, there's no signal, plus, weirdly, the led will only turn on if the board is not connected to ground...is this normal?

Hello, simple doubt, not sure what the answer is...!!!So in a Fuyzzface, lets say I would put two trannys with lesser hfe to replace Q2, how would that work, is it possible?
I happen to say this because my best soundind trannys are mp39 all with the range of 50 hfe.

ive built this pedal once and really liked it with bass.now,for round two im building one for my bass player and would like to adjust it for bass.I was thinking on increasing the decoupling caps to 1 uf.Besides that i have read a thread that suggests increasing the voice cap.theres also another method that was already deleted by adm and i couldnt see it.a good alternative to the voice cap would be great since i believe the magic in this circuit lies on the voice section a far as I rem

So, my sea urchinj works great, but I've accidentally noticed that when it is unplugged from the power it still lets signal run through.This is odd, if it's not powered how does signal go through????It is way smoother than when in bypass, but still, makes no sense.

What is the difference between the marking on the bc109 transistors.Why some have B and others have C, does this have anything to do with gain?

so,i bought two mundorf supreme caps and i received the first one rated.33
this thing is huge and quite bigger than the circuit it was intended to.well,i will still wire it and see how it goes.but let me tell you,this is definetly not for the common audio device.just remember,mundorf silver are huuuuuuuuuge and might not fitinto any of the builds, at least in a conventional way.
I will still use it but will wire it with wires.
