Quote from: madbean on April 20, 2024, 04:42:59 PMLooks like another day or two. I had to rebuild one project this morning and this evening we are looking after a sick doggie. But, I'm right on the cusp. Can't wait to be done with this set!

Also, I'm going to switch back to a virtual private server for the hosting. That should address the issue with the recent resource limit.

Ahhh yeah!

Quote from: madbean on April 17, 2024, 07:55:20 AMI updated the Projects page with some additional releases. This will hopefully be available on the 20th (margin of error of a day or two depending on how this week goes).

Woohoo, a 4/20 release.   :P

I haven't been able to find anything. FSB has a thread, it seems to possibly be an MT2 with a mid boost.

Nice. Nothing like new test gear!
New guitar day, that's pretty cool. [emoji16]

My last multimeter seemed to give up the ghost. It was intermittent on voltage and continuity readings and even though I took it apart and resoldered the connectors nothing seemed to improve. So, out with the cheap DMM and back to a Klein. I don't have Fluke kind of money.

This one seems to be working well enough. I really like the reverse contrast display and the little holders for the probes!

I have a harbor freight meter that looks suspiciously similar.

Toggle switches are the way to go with this. I'm assuming it will be sitting on your bench along with the circuit you're testing, not on the floor. Audio probing would be most difficult with it sitting on the floor. [emoji13]

Thanks for info, I'm guessing that 3dpdt is a Standard stomp switch. The 2dpdt though, is that a on/on or on/off/on? If you remember the one you used or a link that be great.those spring loaded speaker terminals is a great idea, I was thinking of using good color coded alligators so I'd have room to move things around if needed, [emoji848].
It's a 3pdt  toggle switch. The ones at Tayda are what I used.

And a DPDT

I built one, I use it for all my builds. Make sure the switches are oriented correctly, they're hard as hell to get out if you don't. That was board number one. Your idea for an audio probe is dead on, that's what I did. I got a set of 4 speaker terminals to connect the pedal wires and put them on the front. That was a pain after a very short time.

There's a guy in town that used to mod them with a momentary switch on the treadle so you don't have to stomp it, it just works.

Does t cost that much to just replace them, but I get it...
