Got myself another Les Paul. Never had one with P90s. So far, they're great. Sam Ash has them on their Reverb store $500 off. Finally got my college graduation gift.

Keeley magnetic echo in the form of a PPCB magnetron delay. I etched one and gave it to my brother in law and nephew, but I really liked it, so I got a PPCB board. It's too cold to watch and drill another one.

Tech Help - Projects Page / JD-9 single sided Oscillating issues

I made a layout for the Ibanez Jet Driver. It works, but I'm getting some oscillation in either the Drive or EQ section. I can't quite work it out. My voltages all look like they're supposed to. Any help is much appreciated.

So I wondered what the deal was with pedals that are meant to emulate tube amps or preamps. All of my amps are tube amps, so I decided to pick one up on the cheap. Picked up a Marshall Code 50 50watt SS amp used for 149 and free shipping from sam ash.
After I played with all the emulations for a couple of days while waiting for an ear infection to clear up, it was time. I built a TS-10 sounded good. I tested a few others, a Piercing overdrive (Tim pierce) and a TS-7. Sounding better. Next was a Hudson side car. The diodes I used were 1n270, 4148 and a red LED. The bass pot on that thing is huge. The amp came to life and literally shook the floor. Amazing! I must say, some of these pedals make more sense on an SS amp.
As a pedal builder, I can recommend getting one (for research purposes, of course) and giving it a try, I think you'll be surprised.

These were fun builds, I had a great time mixing it up. The first drive is my take on the Tim P overdrive. The boost can operate independently, and there's an order switcher to give you that extra crunch.
Next is Brian's take on the Lizard Queen. I call it The Monthter
Now we're looking at my take on the BYOC Bass Overdrive. Added a clipping Switch with LEDs cause I just like 'em. Along with that is an Ibanez ST-9. I messed up the extra diode implementation, so it's just plain.
Here is my take on the Westwood and the Bad Monkey. the Evil Monkey has a clipping option and the Woody has a Sym and Asym option

I haven't boxed it yet, but I really like it. I have an affinity for octave fuzzes for some reason. I wouldn't classify myself a fuzz guy, not enough phasery goodness. Build it, you won't regret it.
