They are not US based, they usually have them ready in about a week. Shipping is what takes a little bit of time. Maybe another week or so, depending on your shipping preference.  The quality is great, I don't remember if Brian switched to them, I know Robert at pedalpcb does.

Hi all,
Not ready nor willing to pay for a LM308 that i have no guarantee to be  genuine.

I've seen a glass mod with a ne5534.
What would be other substitute to stick to the general idea of the pedal?

I actually think the $250 is pretty fair.  I know a muff collector ( ), he has >100 (OGs and clones).  Some of the boutique clones are in that price range.

Is it gold colored or gold plated? Gold plated seems worth it, otherwise I think it's a bit much. That's just my opinion.
