I built a Dr. Phil (TH customs) compressor for my brother which works well on bass. Also has a built in drive section and a clean blend.Quote from: jimilee on January 19, 2016, 05:37:06 PM
Very nice, I've found opticomps less useful in love situations. But my board consists of wah compressor byoc overdrive, green Russian, klone ,delay ,phaser ,chorus ,bloviator.
I built an all in one with a jmk bass overdrive green Russian phaser and delay. Those are the ones I used the most
Let me correct that for you:

I'm a phaser whore, u thought that was understood. :-DQuote from: Cortexturizer on January 19, 2016, 12:02:29 PMI did a layout in eagle and made my own board. If anyone is interested I have 2 pcbs left. I haven't built the small stone but I remember someone saying that they r similar
Where did you get that PCB? That's the only one I haven't built so far that I want to build, although it's very similar to the small stone, or at least it should be if I am not mistaken. Looking good btw! nice build!

I'd start a claim, if you were going to trouble shoot it, I'd just rather build one, and for a lot less thank 100 I'm guessing.
An MN3005 delay for a lot less than $100? You could maybe sneak in just around $100 if you have a lot of the stuff to make a complete pedal already.

Hey guys,
I recently won an auction for a dod Fx90 analog delay on ebay for about 100 with shipping. The seller had advertised it as new, and included the box and all the original materials (even the freaking DOD sticker that came with the pedal, the schem, and owners manual!) Cosmetically, this thing is nearly perfect, and I love that it came with everything. The problem is, it is not functioning properly. The pedal will randomly start oscillating (irrespective of the repeats knob position). It also goes into oscillation a lot earlier than what I've seen in videos. The seller does not accept returns, however I think I may be covered since he advertised it as new and it certainly isn't working properly. The question is this-I'd hate to let such a pristine example go back due a minor concern that may be easily fixed. I've sent him a message to at least let him know what is going on and am waiting for a reply. Should I troubleshoot and work this out, or go through the process to get my money back and try and find a properly working one, which will likely not even come close to how pretty this one is?. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've never had to deal with a seller on ebay/faulty item in this capacity before.
Quote from: nzCdog on May 18, 2015, 04:27:14 AMMy last band did a lot of that, our inside joke was we were a cover cover band.
Gee i dunno... some covers are seriously cool. We covered the commitments cover of 'mustang sally' and the blues brothers cover of 'sweet home chicago'. The foo fighters did a sweet version of 'baker st' too which you must check out... although in that instance we covered the original
