I just shot them an email for pricing details.  I've got some ideas that might be more suited to screen printing than laser etching.

Is your laser etching stuff done by an online company or something locally?

Wait, you mod them instead of just building more? ;)

That is exactly my problem.. I end up making doubles or triples. lol

Might have to give it a shot. Im still working on my screenprinting rig at home off and on during spear time.. which is not very often.

And the clouds opened up and God touched a pedal, and it was good, and it was called Gold Centaur!

I just love the look of this pedal. So inspirational. Also, thanks for sharing your paint/resin knowledge.

I really digging this .. Your sound sample/style reminds me of a guitarist in a band I played with in school. I always loved the abstract stuff he came up with. Sounds great man.

Finally a time where I heard about this before I put in an order. Time to stock up.

SO INSPIRING. Thanks so much for posting your process and sharing it with us. I have sat here on the couch for the last 30 minutes staring at your photos and wondering how I can better my process. You have a great process and look to your pedals.

I have been using Tayda for about 4 months now and I love dealing with them. I found out that they have an eBay store also that is just their US warehouse. http://stores.ebay.com/Thai-Shine?_rdc=1 so they always get stuff to me in under 4 days to California. I have yet to have a shorted order or shipped the wrong items.

Hey Self, not questioning your knowledge here but I was wondering how you know they are related to Tayda?

Something tells me you'll point me to big letters that says TAYDA  :P ::)

I talked to Tayda and they told me that if I wanted faster shipping I could buy from their partner in the US since they had a warehouse here. They do not stock everything they carry on Tayda's website but I guess it 50% of their stuff and I get it in 3-4 days instead of 7-9 days. Hope this makes sense.. I'm frazzled here at work today.

Square capacitors are mica capacitors. Here is a picture for color code ref.

The only problem I see with this build is I would hate to step on it.. just looks too beautiful. Very nice build.

I'm pretty sure you can use a LDR and a LED. I would get a pack of LDRs and socket it to test with. I have had good results with red diffused LEDs with LDR effects. Just a thought.

You are right to be scared, if i ever get caught my head will be on the block!!!

I used to do the boiling water bath thing, but the results aren't as good.. microwave is fine, just don't do it for too long.

I'll wait for the wife to take a nap and give it a go. Lol
