Yep, very good advice.  I use those same storage containers at home.  I use some often larger ones for through-hole capacitors as well.

For the containers, I would recommend getting the anti-static versions for storing transistors, ICs and diodes.

Now, those containers aren't required when you are starting.  I made it a long time without them. But if you start doing SMT work on any regular basis, they are invaluable.

Here is a sample of an early build of the GreaseGun. This one gets a little weird at the end because I moved the amp or mic inadvertently (you'll hear the part I'm talking about).

Nope, nothing that snazzy. Just a recylced optical LFO.  :)
