QuoteI went to a missions conference at Southeat a few years ago. That is a BIG church. Must be great to play on that worship team.

Yes it is quite large. I really enjoy being a part of it.

I am a Senior Supply Chain Technologist ( although I come from an IT background ) for a 2 billion $ Tire Retail company.  Mostly I do a LOT of data analysis in Excel.

Other than being a computer geek I play golf, guitar, and enjoy tinkering around with amps and pedal builds. I have zero training or experience in electronics and just feel lucky that I have not electrocuted myself yet.  ;D
Silence..... I Keeeeeel youuuuuu....

I test technology products.  Consumer electronics, PC peripherals, software, hardware, embedded devices.  Currently testing pure software products.  I did a stint for a few years doing home recording product testing - mostly audio quality and "special" projects that the DJ's in the home office didn't know what to do with.

Hey, I actually was a chef about 20 years ago, moved around in germany to get some nice jobs (40 seats restaurant with first-class dinners to 40.000 meals daily with an airline caterer - which was a quite shocking experience sometimes...I still refuse to eat scrambled eggs on an airplane  :P ), managed a small hotel with my wife, went to some seafood-store and fell in love with the product. I was manager for a local wholesaler --> of course: seafood-department! and now I´m working for a food distributor as a consultant for hospitals, hotels, retirement homes, and all other customers, who wants to sell / offer fresh fish / all kinds of seafood but have a lot of doubts on how to do it.

I'm a Bio-medical eng. by trade, but I am a Clinical applications specialist for a major medical company.
One thing I haven't seen offered when de-gooping pedals is anyone in the field who offers to x-ray pedals for PC board traces. They show up nicely if you use the right technique. :)

Sounds like both our jobs are closely related.  I work for a company that tests and evaluates the medical equipment before it can be approved by the FDA.

Started out in the record biz in the DC area, left after it became apparent that I wasn't phony enough.  I have been in IT (name it, I've done it) for the last 20 years.  Just got laid off and I don't want to go back.  I do an inordinate amount of volunteering with school and local theater, teach local kids guitar and am currently looking to get into teaching.  And I have made some actual working pedals!

Hey, I'm from D.C.! NW represent :)

Very cool.  I worked for Kemp Mill Records, if you remember them.  Many years ago, though.

My main gig is playing drums I used to do a bunch of projects but now my main gig has pretty much taken over. It was extremely terrifying to depend on a gig for your income because you only really know the next 3 months but lately it's been extremely steady and busy. The past two years I did about 150 gigs and this year it will easily be over 200.

In my freetime I build pedals and do little guitar work. Before I did drums fulltime I worked in the grocery retail business for a decade. I still do some weird freelance vendor work around the holidays.

I am an industrial plant designer.  I design piping and equipment layouts for chemical plants, oil refineries, and food and beverage facilities.
