The Sparklehorn demo is a little meandering. I tried to cover all the ground I could, but with 8 knobs there's a lot of options.

CoOl as expected!!!  The Spaklehorn seems really versatile, and the Moodring.... it really rings!! By the way, fdbk and Space pots on the moodring are both asking for an expression input, I may have to give it a try.... :)

Thanks for the demo's on these, they both sound great.  I probably got some of the first of these boards but am too damn busy to get started on them, (which is good...in the grand scheme of things).  At least now I know what I'm missing...

Brian,

Where do you get those mini potentiometer on the sparklehorn? The build doc has full sized ones listed (and a drilling template for 6 controls instead of 8)

You can get those mini potentiometers at smallbear electronics. Just search for 9 mm alpha pots (upper row are standard 9 mm, lower row are plastic shafts).

As per the building doc, maybe you're looking at an outdated one (the etched project). The build doc for the fabbed pcb has a drilling template for 8 controls (page 6)

Ok, I definitely think you're looking at the etching project's build doc. The fabbed one listed in the store and related to this build report is an updated version with more controls.

Thank you much kind sir - I thought I downloaded from the website but I could have downloaded straight from Google.

Edit: yep, definitely got it off of Google - the file name is sparklehorn 1 rather than sparklehorn 2014. Thanks again for the help.

That has happened to me before :).
Since then, I always start looking in the projects page. If it's not there, it is likely to be here:

or to be an extra project.

Happy build!
