Hi all,
Just a thought ...
Could madbeanpedals make tiny smd pedals to fit inside the 1590LB enclosures available from places such as:
http://pedalpartsaustralia.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=125
Cheers

Something like a Phase 45 or a Phase 90, basically  any one knob phaser

pickdropper has 1590A sized Phase 90s for sale (and not SMT, cause deep down, he knows that SMT is the tool of the devil)

Maybe, but where do you think those chocolates with whisky inside come from? SMD has it's place... well, the bigger size SMD does, SOD123 size SMD can get bent.

I'm actually into this idea. I think I will try to come up with one or two. That said, I think a phaser would be a bit of a challenge. But, we like challenges here.

building a bazzfuss into a 1590LB just about gave me a migraine...

so hell yeah I'd do it again  8)

I wndered the same thing a while back. IIRC, SMT stands for surface mount technology. Some folks use one term and some use the other.

Already did a few.  :)  But not all of them work yet. :(.   Stay tuned.

They are definitely fun, and I would almost definitely buy a madbean 1590lb pcb.

SMT is surface mount technology. Smd is surface mount device.  A bit like squares are rectangles, but rectangles are not squares. People use them interchangeably.

I might think about a deluxe memory man. ;)

Right. The correct usage depends on context. You do something in SMT with SMD. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surface-mount_technology

Here's the the first try on an LB layout. I'm sure you can guess what it is. This one was for practice, but maybe I'll make a couple.

Our FuzzIon wich is a simplified BazzFuss would fit in that quite easy, one knober, mounts on the 3PDT, components face down... enclosed jacks and there you go!
