how do you avoid the ink running when you pour the envirotex over the labels?

I tried some ink jet sticker paper a while back but couldn't varnish over it with acrylic or oil based gloss...

The Envirotex doesn't react with the ink. Never had an issue with that.

same here. the ET apparently also does nothing to stop the UV so all my blue labels of yesteryear are now stylishly purple. :)

Great looking pedals as always! What font is that for the Attack / Decay?

Eurostile bold. I squashed it a little vertically and I had to rasterise and cut the gap between the TT manually. Not sure what EHX used originally but it's as close as I could find.

I've used water slide decals with an ink jet printer in the past. Most places that sell the paper will also sell a fixative. A light coat will protect the ink against acrylic or polyurethane.

Looks great! I thought it was the exact font ;-)

thanks for the info guys. FYI there is an 'extended' font of Eurostile which will get you that 70s EHX vibe perfectly...
