...this was worth the $100 I spent on it.

On its own it's kinda okay. The triggering is not great, there is some latency and some of the modes sound pretty much the same. But, when you combine it with other stuff it gets really interesting. Running it through a Pitch Fork, Slow Loris, the upcoming FFX Parallax and delay yielded some wild results! Maybe I can circuit bend it down the road :)

Awesome! I see people buying em all the time cause their kids love it!

Any sound samples of said setup Brian?

the upcoming FFX Parallax

This is all I took from your post. More details! :D

The triggering makes it a bit hard to be consistent. I wonder if a compressor in front of it would help...

Pedal building is like the opposite of sex.  All the fun stuff happens before you get in the box.

Sigh...my daughters are obsessed with Miku and the other vocaloids right now. So much so that they've convinced me to use Luka in a pedal graphic! I have to admit, some of the songs are really catchy...I showed them a clip of someone playing "Every Breath You Take" through this on YouTube and they thought it was hilarious. Anyway, based on your clip, it's more useful than I would have thought.

When I first heard of this pedal, I had no idea of what a vocaloid was.  After doing a bit of searching, I found out and I actually like
listening to the live concerts.  I don't know japanese, but the music is catchy and it's neat to see the crowd interacting with the band.

Very interesting sounds. This pedal would probably be a lot more useful if it had several momentary stomp switches, so you could rapidly go between each effect. Being able to add a touch here and there of some of these sounds during a guitar solo could really take it over the top.
Yep. I clicked the, "continue without supporting us" link....

I keep imagining thirty years from now that there's some hipster in a guitar gear mag talking about this like they do now about some of the esoteric stuff ehx did back in the day followed by all the guys who bought one, couldn't find a use for it, and sold theirs lamenting what they're worth now that they're cool

That's great. It'll probably be true too. Although I bet the bean will have a DIY version by then ;)
