Also dragged out my Motown Gold album to listen to some Jamerson basslines. I have bought a new bass and have put flatwounds on so I'm digging Jamerson at the mo ha!

Yes.

I've got  Revamp in one car, Billy Idol's highly underatted Cyberpunk in the other. Generally speaking though there'll always be some Monster Magnet or NIN on somewhere too. Also enjoying the Tron Legacy soundtrack. You can hear everything in there from Kraftwerk to J.M. Jarre to Ron Hubbard all mixed in with a bit of Hans Zimmer (it's actually Daft Punk).

Up the resolution on them and they sound much better, well apart from the Billy Idol track as that's lousily encoded.

Catching on to lots of stoner metal lately. I'm digging High On Fire, Bison BC, and especially Acid King.

Pedal building is like the opposite of sex.  All the fun stuff happens before you get in the box.

yeah, cool to see that name on this forum. i found him looking at some fender princeton advertisement and really liked is feeling with the tele, and then he poited out roy buchanan, another tele master with an incredible touch on those strings. I recommend listening to both of them!

For the last days i've been listening to a lot of Queens of the Stone Age, especially the song "i think i lost my headache". Waiting for their new album now... btw, cool thred.

I scored a copy of Television - Marquee Moon on vinyl the other day.  Now constantly being spun in my apartment.  So good.

Yesterday I was listening to some older Donald Fagen solo stuff
Today I'm on a Steve Miller kick.  Something about a joker, a smoker, and a midnight toker....

edit:  of course, if I had been in Dude mode, I woulda said Creedence.  A missed opportunity.

Superdrag! Need to drag that out.

I've had Blitzen Trapper in heavy rotation lately.
