Nothing too magical, but its cool to see the DIY scene getting attention from the retail side of the world. Its a simple hack of the old EHX muff fuzz (a personal favorite) to add some additional controls.

Has a fairly efficient vero layout, a nice breakdown of component placement, and box wiring. Even has ProGuitarShop Andy play a demo through it.

A bit lacking in detail for a true newbie, but still cool. I'm so used to retailers and designers wanting to forget the DIY scene even exists these days (like Zvex calling out someone selling a Mutron clone... what?).

(oh and fair warning, its a horribly inefficient web-app magazine, can chug a bit on slower machines)

Also, can't help but love that they're using some of those strange Tayda yellow-band 914's. I've got a ton of those little buggers lying around myself.

What's really interesting is that they left out any mention of cutting the tracks.  They're on the layout graphics, but they skip that and go straight to resistors...
