Pork Barrell LFO Led question

Planning to purchase and build the Pork Barrell CE-2 Chorus and
am wondering if the LFO led2 switches off when the effect is switched
off or does it stay permanently lit up?

Looking to use Led2 as the singular indicator, if possible bypass
the cathode pcb pad and wire the cathode leg of LED2 to the 3PDT
footswitch where the indicator LED cathode would normally terminate
if Led2 does stay lit bypassed.

Will the 1K r44 resistor be enough to avoid popping? Increase this
resistor or would the cathode be better off dumping at the DC jack
ground to avoid the audio path altogether and popping?

Excuse my ignorance as this is my first attempt at bypassing a LFO
Led in this manner.

Thanks

Think I've found the answer, from an older version but implementation should be the same :

"Yes. Do as in standard wiring but replace the 4K7 with 22K and instead of wiring it
(red wire) to the DC jack you wire it to the right side pad of the omitted R39 on the Pork Barrel."

So the CLR is increased to 22k for popping and CLR is r44 1k on current pcb, wondering if
the LFO Led is on at all times even bypassed with current Pork Barrel PCB and I need to do this?
