VFE Switching Board - questions while building
« on: November 18, 2017, 11:55:21 AM »
I have a 1/2W 1k resistor near the Zener and the other 1k resistor in the schematic comes off the switch on the silkscreen it's marked P1k but I'm not familiar with the P.  What does it mean?

I guess, P stands for "Power", it's a power/ current resistor?

Pretty much this. Its a 1/2W resistor in a 1/8W size form factor. Its acting as a power resistor (designed to stay cool while having lots of power running through it).
