For US residents, Arrow Electronics has a 20% on the Raspberry Pi 3 plus free next day air shipping. Code is PI20. Some states have to pay sales tax, many do not.

My kids much prefer the "old" games we play on retro pi than the latest and greatest.
I enjoy it too!

Okay, so I ended up getting this complete kit: http://amzn.to/2A6EyAn

I was super impressed with the way they put it together. Packaging was nice and there was a quickstart guide written in native-speaker English that covered all sorts of things that you could do with the included hardware and software.

Got it up and running in about 10 minutes. Could not have been easier. Got my stash of NES ROMs loaded and showed my daughter the wonder that is Super Mario Bros. :)

Now can somebody tell me what the hell is up with MAME ROMs? I downloaded some, and for each game there are 5-6 files with different letter and number codes. What's up with that shit?
