real or fake?

It's impossible to tell from photographs if a chip is real or not, for some reason these suppliers usually reprint good chips anyway.

But there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Cool Audio v3207, 3102 or 571 and that rumour needs to go away.
There was a batch of v3205 that wouldn't bias properly and that seems to be where it's come from.

If you're not convinced still, you could also go with a BL3207 which most of the major companies (EHX, MXR etc.) use.

Scruffie I recall reading the cool audio chips being noisy compared to Panasonic chips.  Not tryin g to propogate​ any fallacies.  The reprinting drives me crazy. 

I guess I'll find out, hopefully this weekend.  I'll let you guys know.

Can't speak to whether or not those chips are real or fake. But I can say my first purchase from Polida was good.  The second time I received duds and it was like pulling teeth to return them. I'll never deal with them again.
