PS: I run mine on a Voodoo Labs "Digital" power supply (regulated for 400ma at 12v). I didn't find the clock noise to be any different between the two versions. I also had to be careful of the placement of Boss pedals in the signal chain... they caused insane amounts of noise.

The original the current lover is based on ran on just a 9V battery or power supply, hence being known as the 9V mistress. The deluxe version which has a different audio path but much the same clock/lfo ran from 15V from a transformer and the first versions which had a totally different clock/lfo but nearly identical audio path to the 9V version ran from 12Vish from two 9V batteries or an 18V power supply.
