Problem with my DIY Tap Tempo syncing with N.O. pedals

I have built a tap tempo to sync three pedals together, one Strymon and two Normally Open pedals. I have rewired this thing multiple times and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I've used 8 different Normally Open delays, and am testing the Strymon part of the tap tempo with both a Timeline and a Mobius.

My pedal successfully syncs all the NO pedals with each other in every combination, but both Strymons are always out of sync with the NO pedals. I have tried swapping the Sleeve and Ring wires to the opposite lugs on the momentary 3pdt switch from the Strymon jack, and syncing with just one other NO pedal, but no dice. I've attached my wiring diagram here. https://imgur.com/a/5YcvD

The Strymon site says the mobius and Timeline need an external tap switch that switches the TIP between the SLEEVE(ground or 0VDC) to the RING (5VDC), and it should work fine. I think that's what I've done here...

I've been emailing with Strymon support to see if there was something they could offer but we haven't gotten anywhere. Am I missing something obvious?

When you say it's out of sync, do the Strymons detect your tap signal at all or just nothing happens?
All I can say is that according to their description your wiring should work. It's a bit odd that it should need to actually switch from VDD to ground, usually the high potential would be pulled up and you just need to pull it down to ground to trigger the action. But it might be a multifunction jack and I don't have all the details.
Perhaps just plug in your stereo jack on the strymon and measure if you have any voltage on the ring and if there is some on the tip.
While you are there you could try to just short the ground and tip to see if that would be enough to trigger it.
