Electro-hamonix had a plasma ball at one point, the "Corona Concert"




Wasn't audio associated in any way, but, knowing EHX, there is probably someone out there who will swear its absolutely ESSENTIAL for their tone.

Thats just it, its not a pedal. Its just a plasma ball, just a fancy glowy light effect. EHX did that occasionally, made show-effects. But they would advertise them along side the pedals in their catalogs, so I'm sure a few confused folks ended up with them unintentionally. (Not that EHX had a ton of business in 1980 to begin with)

If that light show gave useful feedback like rate and wave in a phaser, that'd be cool.

Nope! Completely independent of audio! They did have a little LED thing that would react to your sound, but it was tiny and expensive.
