I ordered a few parts early Wednesday morning (1am) and the parts aren't
going to be here until monday or tuesday.  I don't know if the holiday screwed things up
or what.  By the time I get the parts, it will be close to a week.

Arrow! How could you?!?  :D

When using Arrow you have to look at the ship date of each component which I think is on the right-hand side on the selected component page.
While it may ship overnight, that's relative to the actual ship date from wherever that selected component is coming from, often from overseas.

That, and I suspect it takes a bit more time to put 50 capacitors in 8 boxes.

They'll make up for the delay with multiple layers of anti-static packaging, bubble wrap, and plastic bags.  :P

;D

Realistically it takes Arrow a day to get the orders boxed, for me DigiKey and Mouser generally get stuff out the door the same day if I put by order in by noon.

Lately Arrow's special offers have been $500 off $2000. That's a great deal except I probably haven't spent that much on components in 4 years.
