Any tutorial I make is fair game for you, Brian. I might have only made one about applying graphics via paper and acrylic.

I need to update my etching post on my blog. Your more than welcome to use anything I have made. Ill see if I can carve out some time this weekend to reword a few things on my etching tutorial and maybe update some photos. I might be able to use a product from the Etchers Paradise as an example.

Thanks guys. I'll start work on collating next week.

I do plan to do a video series this fall on the complete process from idea to layout to prototype. It'll be for Eagle 7.7 though. Already paid $500 for that license so I sure ain't renting it from Autodesk.

Brian, is your search button down? I had an old do's and don'ts of Envirotex that I was going to cull out. There are not pics and videos but it surely has some pit falls that could help anyone trying to use this type of epoxy, assuming anyone really uses it still. I've been out of the loop a bit.

Here's my perfboard tutorial:

step 1)  decide on circuit to build
step 2)  purchase perfboard and all the necessary components online
step 3)  wait by mailbox
step 4)  wait some more
step 5)  repeat steps 3 and 4 as needed
step 6)  finish this tutorial and submit to the forum
step 7)  forget what I'm building and what parts that I ordered
step 8)  post tutorial on the forum
step 9)  and we're done!

;D

Depending on how it works out, I might have a new enclosure etching technique without using acids or bases. I'll keep you posted how it goes.

scratch that. Anodic dissolution generally works, but either takes very long for a good etching depths or high currents (around 10 A), which we usually don't have available. At long times the toner gives in and you loose detail. It's a pity, I was really looking forward to a new technique without "dangerous" chemicals using mostly what you have on hand.

One tutorial that I have never seen but, would be extremely valuable is one that instructs on how to properly bias and set clocks for BBDs. Using an Oscope and a proper DMM to check signal levels and frequencies.

I would actually love to see a tutorial like this.
