I recently acquired from a MB member a Rust Bucket PCB.  However, looking at the parts list and complexity I was thinking of building a Slow Gear from OSHpark instead.

Has anyone tried both circuits?  Opinions on the sound?

I have, a long time apart though but it's not just the sound, the Attack Decay has far more sounds in it and the tracking is miles better, they're both one trick ponies still but the Attack Decay does that trick a lot better and more consistently.

I have an original SG-1.  It's in nice shape.  It sits in a box in my room, and I suppose one day I'll sell it for too much money.  As Scuff said, it's a great collectors item, but not such a great pedal.  Tracking issues galore.

Cool.  Thanks for the input.

It makes sense now why there's more going on in the Attack Decay.
