I thought you guys might like this. I have built a lot of huge oversized things, but this is by far the biggest haha! Including a toddler for scale.

I did some graphic design work for JPTR FX and he sent me some board, so this is his Jive circuit into his Fernweh with some added features (like a weird glithcy modulation circuit). I dont have a final wiring pic, only a midway one, but it shows how much room is inside haha.

BOTY competitor right there. That thing screams for some kind of capacitive touch plate for expression control.

That is kick ass.  Reminds me of old school coin-op video game cabinets.  Using a kid is one of the more effective devices I've ever seen to give a sense of scale.

Pedal building is like the opposite of sex.  All the fun stuff happens before you get in the box.

BOTY competitor WINNER!

Seriously Dan, this might be your best work so far. How did you do the multicoloured stuff? this looks much too multicoloured to be etched and spraypainted.

can't believe this is DIY, just way too good
I build pedals to hide my lousy playing.

Yeah, I became bored with etching and don't really do it anymore.

For this:
- tinted acrylic panels (look at the edge on the third pic, I used light blue panels)
- 11x17 color prints from an office supply store (placed underneath the panels)
- and done.

I am currently working on a smaller unit with fluorescent green acrylic.

Not sure whether giant pedal, or really small toddler....

But seriously, wow, that is amazing.

Just noticed some of the knobs go up to eleven.  Pure class.  ;D

Yeah thats a BOTY winner for sure xD

skyled

It's so cramped I don't know how you got it all in there.
