I say if someone wants to drop 2k on a "new" klon, let 'em, it's their money. I could do a very nice little vacation on that dime, but hey. It's like politics. Can't change people's minds. I feel the people who pay 2k for a klon will never have an as enriched and rewarding musical experience as I will with my lonely stock EHX soul food, but I won't hate on them for that. Pity maybe. lol

Agreed.  If you can part with that kind of coin for damn near any piece of gear I'm envious.  I would hope that most of this goes in Finnegan's pocket instead of traders.  The guy really deserves to be just stupid rich just for pulling off the whole Klon thing in the first place.  In the meantime by Aion, VFE, and Kingslayer versions suit me just fine and I'm very happy that the pedal exists at all...hype or no hype.
