Does anyone know if there is a way to make the LED on a BOSS DD-5 blink in tempo?

I doubt it. It's not a trivial mod for a pt2399 and Boss uses proprietary chips.

That's perfect! Unfortunately I don't think that will fit in the enclosure that I'm using
