Hmm.. I find the opposite is true.  These plates gave me fits for numerous reasons.

It's just another process.  I've gotten fairly good at it, but I still have moments of frustration from under etched and over etched plates.  These plates were actually a batch of 4 on one sheet for the etch.  They are time consuming.  Masking, etching, cutting, sanding...

The main problem with these was the font was VERY thin, so it took me 3 tries to get it right.

Ok, i see now...........you acid etch them..., dunno if you saw my Weener (insert joke here), but i got some plates made at a trophy shop, they're engraved with a diamond bit router.....nice 3D effect and cost me 2$ per plate........
